P14D:R - Day 1 - I've been waiting for a Miracle!
Day 1 - 03-08-09
Objective: Wallpaper featuring Illya
Status: Completed!
So, after eight days, finally finally an output!
Basically, I wanted to do an Illya wallpaper, then the ideas slowly started to pop up. Memories, bubble-ish fragments with different pictures of Illya in the background, then a heart figure in the center. Then a bit of makeover using snowflakes and stuff. Something like that!
Obviously, the color theme would be purple, purple, and maybe a bit of white! Yeah, I really needed to do a 360 from my last Photoshop since it really wasn't me at all. Haha but.
Output:
Pink != Purple!
A lot of concepts were changed in the middle of the process. Haha, instead of bubbly shapes, I used stars. It was more of pink than purple. Then I've made a tagline too. (doh) It's supposed to be a 'window' that has been covered with snow, then some parts of it has some snow wiped off, wherein you see the illyas. xd Okay, that doesn't make any sense, I know!
Alternatively, there's the 'snow'-less version.
Initially I really thought of opting for 'pastel'-ish colors to replace my dark desky, not to mention since I really like lighter/pastel colors better! The output became a bit more bland and pinkish-focused evenly spread out. The color could be improved, but bleh~!
Overall? I like it! Of course, it could be better, but this is what I can only do in the meantime. I really worked hard on it, so there's really no reason for me to hate it!
So yeah, replacing a dark wallpaper I used to use (will post in a later 'day'), I've got this bright-ish illya wally! <3 So, so, one day down! But, nah, for my personal use. Won't be publicly sharing this, but feel free if anyone likes to grab (probably not though!)
