1st Year, 3rd Term - Bad End

Photobucket
...How come I can only create waaaalllls of text nowadays? Hint hint: long post!

Honestly, ever since the first few weeks of the term, it really really felt... awkward, weird. The subjects I've enrolled seemed odd, or maybe it was the schedule. Suffice to say, now that the term has ended, I have to say that it really really was a weird term.

Let's just say. I could have done better, after all that's what happened. Ahaha. Sloth sloth~ Why do you keep pestering me~

It's weird because... I don't know, because of everything? The previous terms were really a leisure compared to this term, we had great profs overall, the subjects are good and stuff. Yeah, probably there's the answer - profs. And subjects too, if I might add. (more...)

Amassing Sleep

Photobucket
I need to hibernate like Tsukasa.

Good night sweet cireko. I pretty much have only tonight and tomorrow night, but they're both still unlikely. I mean, night for sleeping. Why why oh why?

The valiant effects of P-R-O-C-A-S-T-I-N-A-T-I-O-N of course! But hey, at least this time I'm tackling it a few days earlier than I would probably have, and I'm preparing for it (by sleeping a lot before hand) too! (more...)

Lost my Illya~

Well, I guess weekly posts are good. At least I can manage to write once a week about my flag encounters, everyday life, and the like! But I like for some of them to be detailed though... Well, this post is long (note: wall of text) enough, so what the heck.

Photobucket
Illya dump impending.

On the first day of this week is Monday. As with every week, lel! Well, it was good. Basketball was fun as usual, but the presence of flags (and an annoying classmate to boot) is fun. What do I mean? It's. A. Secret! Aside from that, the usual Mondays. ELL, sleepy Calculus, crap-elcom, and Tred where we watch this movie called. OH GOD! Without the capslock though.

---

Tuesday is a bad bad day. I was a bit down that day. Let's seeee... Paul didn't did what he told me the other day. What do I mean? Flag encounter, that's what! I wasn't really expecting anything so it's all good. UNTIL SUDDENLY he was going out later during our break and will not play with us because he's going to someone's birthday. Wew. Well, it's okay too. More about it on the later part of this day. (more...)

Change for Real!

Last week was just the planning. Now is taking it in to action! Well, sorta! What do I mean? Well, looking back this week...

TREDONE symbol of faith. I posted my essay on a post before this, so if you're interested go take a look! Basically, it's a start of me daring to do something outside what I should usually do. Instead of taking the usual cross or bible as a symbol, guess what? An ATA cable woo! Weird, but true. I did this, knowing we would present it to class. I did this, knowing I would be different. And a whole lot different from me a year ago, definitely! Even though it's a daring step, it was a good one, I think. It helped me gain a lot of self confidence when with others, especially with unknown people. It also makes me look more weirder, but that's okay!

There's also FORMDEV (notice the subject trends, lol). Last FORMDEV I dared to reveal more than usual should. I've told them my kinda dream. I've told them about the ATA-cable. But more importantly, they got the impression I'm changing like this because there's a girl I like. Well, I did say 'maybe' when they were asking, so maybe!

Is it really? Fu fu fu. I've also made, or rather remade an old plan, a very special plan that will raise everyone's affection points. But that's if I'm up to the task, but I'll work especially hard. Haha

DASALGO is like just as planned. Fu fu fu, but I have to sacrifice someone. Sorry Alvin!

Today there was a seminar for us SPRINTees. I finally (half) decided, I'm going to SPRINT till the end! I looked back at my first impressions when I heard of SPRINT, if the current SPRINT isn't up to my expectations then... I should make them up to par by commandeering it by myself! lol, that's going to really extreme side of it, but yeah. As my adviser said, I should go out the comfort zone if I want to change, so this is one of 'em.

It's hard. But I won't hesitate. I said 'half' to SPRINT because I'm going to need to take a bit time to adjust. Today was a start, like last week was a start for this whole change. What do I mean? Today I'm pretty much the me last year. And comparing today to yesterday and the other days? I like the new me.

But I'm going to dare more than this. The ultimo plano which gives ++ affection points. Wooo stay tuned! <3 (Won't reveal yet because someone reads this blog again :D)

Illya and TREDONE Part I

Recently, we had some homework for TREDONE (Theology and Religion One something etc). Basically - I feel I've written things that are: Silly, True, and Stupid. That, and it took my time for writing here, so mind as well as post it. Particularly posting especially since the first one was a wasted effort since we swapped profs.

And it could be funny looking at it 5 years from now : >

Essay: Myself and my Beliefs

To start off, let me first introduce myself. My name is *secret, lol*, and I graduated from Don Bosco Makati. I’m currently taking BS-CS as my course in college, simply because I really like computers! With that said, my hobbies more or less consist of being in front of a monitor such as playing games (ie DotA!), surfing the internet for random trivia and such, as well as occasionally having a chat with my peers and put them in to submission. Have a Break, Have a COMPRO2

Notice: speedwrite.

Compro2 is rage. Perioooooood.

Haha, so like we're thrown right in the face two major projects - the two phase MP and a group Case Study, both of which requiring a program. But the rage-inducing part is that it's not just a program, it involves massive research outside the context of the lesson. At least, that's the way I project it...

Honestly, a program made under the 'norm' from whatever we have only discussed is too minimal to make anything good - at this rate, the program will be hard to do because the output is not concise or clear. What do I mean.

So like the MP is like make a game-show'ish program/game. The problem is, how can you make something attractive, or at least, something that looks like a game at all without teaching anything graphics programming? I mean, it might be reasonable IF the game didn't involve kinda a good amount of graphics with it, but noooo, drawing a table, shading it, constantly clearing/changing the screen doesn't seem like a normal thing to do ;_;

Right now I'm looking at the possiblity of any minor graphics using DJGPP's defaaault headerfiles, but I have to check up tomorrow in the lab if I can really do it. A bad bad thing is that nVidia cards stop supporting somethings yadayadayada meaning? I can't open my old C Hangman program anymore, I can't test any graphics programming ;_; Thankfully, there's DOS Box and my Hangman ran again xD I miiiiiised it so much <3

Bad part: DJGPP pseudo-graphics needs some additional 'csdpmi*b.zip' - I installed it but it still doesn't work, at least on DOS Box. Sooooo if tomorrow in the lab it doesn't work, I'll have to scratch the whole graphics concept and...

Craaaawl with silly ASCII-based game, with constant clrscr();'s.

Another thing to think about is the Case Study. We're going to make a system about an inventory/mini-sales system. The problem here is I'm not currently sure if we are going to learn file i/o in time, which is desperately neeeded in this project. The thing is, MP phase 1 doesn't involve file i/o, and only phase 2 requires it. The point? MP phase 1 and case study's deadline are within a similar date ;_;

Hurraaah for systems that has hard info within the program itself? That, or advance study on file i/o ;_;

Of course, this is partly RAAAGE, but at the same time, a challenge. That I am kinda hesitant but no-choice so let's doooo it! I don't know about the others though, so glgl ;_;

Saya is not amused by this turn of events.

(since the speedwrite includes the pic, i didn't looked properly ;_;)

A New Term!

Look forward for more posts with the same title < .< Ahaha~

So the 2nd term started already (since last week, lazypants!), and a week or so have already passed. Hmmm...

Schedule-wise, I'm having fuuuuuuun! Well, not really, I still think it's funner last yea... term, because there was DotA. Haha :P Anyhow, my sched this term is more compact and has very few breaks. But that's because they're mostly half day!

The subjects are fairly interesting. Our PE is Dance! More on that later on :D Trigo is fun, because the teacher teaches really great - half of the time is spent on stories, which makes it really fun and not boring like some-teacher-in-highschool! :) Then there's DISCTRU, which made me wonder, but it's kinda like a logical mathematics thingy. The prof is also fun, he can really relate things to the subject and makes it interestings and stuff! We still haven't met Ms. Nats, our prof in COMPRO2, she's still in France. Ahaha. SOCTECH is something science-like subject. And it's split into two parts. Still needs more meetings for verdict! FILDLAR is, weird. Ahaha, but the teacher is really funnyyy!!11 (hi george :DD) (more...)

Term 1 - Almost the End!

The first term is coming to an end... Looking back? It's filled with lots and lots of memories. Good ones, funny ones, but there are probably a lot more of the stupid ones than the others! Well, 3 months ago isn't that long but...

I remember the first day I met everyone. Actually - no. I _barely_ remembered anyone during the LPEP. I'm really bad at names and faces, and I'm to plain to making others make a lasting impression!

Speaking of impressions, man, I'm so negative. I won't bother getting into details, but I've thought of horrible impressions of some of my blockmates to the point that I want to say sorry to them. Reaally negative, but thankfully they weren't true and it's actually a happy bunch of people :P (more...)

ICPC-TraP - Part I

I should put a General Ackbar pic here saying "It's a traaap!".

Because the recent birthday celebrater wasn't available today, I went to plan B and played CoD4 instead. Today was a conflicting day - ICPC-Trap AND Badminton Inter-block was today and verrrry coincidently, at the same time of 1-5pm. Greaaat.

But before that, advertisement. Yay, I got my G3 back in CoD4 today! I soooo love that gun! :P (more...)
